Invite a friend to learn about Amateur Radio at North Hills Radio Club's "What is Amateur Radio?" event on May 2, 10 am-2 pm at the Ham Radio Outlet, 4813 Auburn Blvd, Sacramento, CAUpcoming on May 2nd is What Is Amateur Radio. Check out different Radio setups and see how they work. From CW to HF to POTA and other operations. Take a walk into HRO and see what you like. You might even pick something up! Bring a friend and or family members to see what you are doing with that strange thing that voices come out of. Weekly classes will start April 20, 2026 and finish on June 15. You do not need to be a licensed amateur radio operator to attend.
